Gabhaimid comhbhrón o chroí do chlann Mhicíl. Bhí Mícheál ina chathaoirligh oinigh ar Bhord Coiste Chondae na hÁise. Rinne sé sár obair I gcónaí chun Cumann Lúth Chleas Gael a fhorbairt agus a neartú ar fud na hÁise.  Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís. Suaimhneas na bhflaithis dá anam uasal. 

Our heartfelt condolences to the Ó Muircheartaigh family. Mícheál was honorary chairman of the Asian County Board. He did excellent work to develop and strengthen Cumann Luth Cleas Gael throughout Asia. There will never be anything like it again. Rest in heaven to his noble soul.
