On September 30th the second round of the 2nd round of the ladies league took place alongside the 2017 AYC. Teams from Singapore, Orang Eire, Thailand, Saigon, and Hong Kong took to the field to see who would be crowned winners. After a very successful first round in Bangkok, the second round was expected to be as competitive and it didn’t disappoint. Throughout the day, the teams competed hard against each other with many games ending in only a one point difference between the winners and runners up. Eventually though Thai GAA ran out winners of the first ever Southeast Asian Ladies league.
An excellent concept was put into place by the teams and the ladies development officer (Laura Comerfod- Saigon Gaels). 2018 looks bright for ladies football in Asia.
